Why we built it
About Dead Simple Email
We built the inbox infrastructure we wished existed for AI products that need real sending addresses, reply handling, and sane pricing at scale.
Every option for agent email is broken in its own way.
Gmail and Outlook suspend accounts that send programmatically. It's a terms-of-service violation, and one suspension can take down an entire customer deployment.
Google OAuth requires 200+ lines of boilerplate, constant token refresh, and scope management. For an agent that just needs to send an email, that's absurd.
Per-seat mailbox pricing from Google Workspace ($7-8/seat) turns 100 agent inboxes into a $700/mo line item. That kills unit economics for any product that provisions inboxes per customer.
Raw SMTP gives you sending but no receiving, no threading, no structured responses, and no agent-aware features. You end up building half an email platform yourself.
Newer agent email APIs jump from $20/mo to $200/mo with nothing in between, paywall webhooks behind their most expensive tier, and ship no dashboard or UI at all.
Inboxes on demand with a shared domain that works instantly. Outbound email with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC pre-configured. Inbound replies as structured JSON via webhooks. Automatic threading. Bounce handling. Contact management. Draft approval for human-in-the-loop review. Agent guardrails. Open and click tracking. Multi-tenant pods. And a dashboard to see it all.
100 inboxes for $29/mo. Webhooks on every plan, including Free.
Bridget
Founder, Dead Simple Email
Bridget started Dead Simple after seeing the same pattern over and over: every option for agent email was broken in a different way, and teams were forced to choose between banned bots, painful auth, or impossible mailbox economics.
View LinkedIn“I founded DSE to fix that. One clean API that gives agents real inboxes, webhooks, threading, and everything else they need to operate through email.”
Dead Simple Email exists to close the gap between what AI agents need and what traditional email providers actually support: real inboxes, sane pricing, inbound webhooks, message threading, and a dashboard teams can use without stitching together five other tools.

Who it's for
Teams building AI products that live in email.
AI SDR and outreach tools
Each customer deployment needs 10-50 dedicated sending inboxes. Per-seat pricing destroys margins. Gmail suspensions are existential. Dead Simple gives you 100 inboxes for $29/mo with no suspension risk and bulk inbox provisioning via API.
AI support platforms
Support agents need per-customer inboxes with perfect conversation threading, multi-day history, and human review before sending. Dead Simple handles threading automatically, supports draft approval workflows, and scales inboxes with your customer count.
Multi-agent framework developers
LangChain, CrewAI, and AutoGen developers need a clean email tool — not 200 lines of Gmail OAuth boilerplate. Dead Simple provides drop-in integrations with simple API key auth, structured JSON responses, and cheap inboxes for testing multi-agent workflows.
SaaS products and agencies
Products that provision per-tenant email and agencies managing inboxes across 20+ clients can't afford $7-8 per mailbox. Multi-tenant pods with scoped API keys give each customer their own isolated namespace — at $29/mo for 100 inboxes, not $700+.
Principles
How we think about building this.
Developer-first
The API is the product. Clean REST endpoints, predictable JSON responses, typed SDKs for Python, TypeScript, and Go, and framework integrations for LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, and OpenAI Agents. No mailbox UI paradigm forced onto software.
No infrastructure theater
You shouldn't need to become an email expert to give your agent an inbox. SPF, DKIM, DMARC, bounce handling, suppression lists, and domain reputation are configured automatically. Create an inbox and start sending — we handle the rest.
Transparent economics
Pricing is public, predictable, and designed for products that create lots of inboxes. No per-seat traps. No $20-to-$200 cliffs with nothing in between. No paywalling webhooks or dashboards behind expensive tiers. You can calculate your costs before you sign up.
Trust is a feature
Deliverability, agent guardrails, webhook HMAC signing, bounce classification, and rate limiting aren't afterthoughts. They determine whether your agent's emails get read, whether your sending reputation stays clean, and whether you stay in control of what your agent sends.
We run our own email stack.
Dead Simple isn't a wrapper around SES or SendGrid. We operate dedicated mail transfer agents for outbound delivery and dedicated inbound servers for receiving. This gives us direct control over deliverability, domain reputation, and pricing — which is why we can offer 100 inboxes for $29/mo while competitors charge $200.
